ELECTRIC ACTUATORS
ELECTRIC ACTUATORS

Viper 100 Series Applications
BLAC INC. Viper 100 Series Electric Actuators are engineered for precise valve control in process and oil & gas operations. Viper actuators have zero emissions, require minimal maintenance and deliver proven long-term reliable performance.
It is designed for linear applications up to 4 in (100 mm) stroke requiring high-level control. Viper 100 delivers exact control for most valve applications.
Viper applies the BLAC INC. patented hydraulic actuator cylinder rod seal to prevent contamination of the drive cylinder internals.
The Viper 100 Series uses absolute feedback positioning that enables the actuator to continuously maintain the commanded valve position. It incorporates a roller screw drive with servo design.
Viper 100 Advantages
Electric Over Hydraulics/Pneumatics
- Cost-Effective Control: Electric systems offer greater long-term savings for the desired control than alternatives.
- High-Level Precision: Delivers exact control for most valve applications.
- Simplified Integration: Integrated drive and controller precisely manages the motor speed and position.
- Reduced Maintenance: Does not have the maintenance requirements of hydraulics or pneumatics.
- Demand-Based Power: Reduced energy consumption.
- Compact Design: Rugged, closed system.
